A 4-year-old girl killed in a fire east of Lytle has been identified by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Azariaha Elisabeth Llamas died as a result of burn injuries, investigators confirmed.

On Feb. 12, a blaze engulfed the mobile home where Azariaha lived after 9 a.m. in the 17900 block of Shepherd Road.

A firefighter and a sheriff’s deputy were injured while attempting to rescue people from inside. Two residents received severe burns and were taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Azariaha’s body was recovered after firefighters extinguished the blaze.

The fire remains under investigation by the Bexar County Fire Marshal’s Office as of Wednesday.
