Ken BrancaA man who died after being hit by two cars while crossing a West Side street has been identified by the Bexar County medical examiner.
Gabriel De Leon, 58, was struck by a white sedan at about 9 p.m. in the 1000 block of South General McMullen, near San Fernando Cemetery II. He was not in a crosswalk, heading east, investigators said.

A black Chrysler 200 traveling behind the white car also ran over De Leon, but that driver stopped to help, San Antonio police said. De Leon died after first responders arrived.
The driver of the white car, when found, will face one count of failure to stop and render aid resulting in death, police said.
